The Gulliver's Hotel is a hit with families, especially those taking advantage of the 'eat, play and stay' packages, which include theme park access and meals. Guests particularly enjoy the themed accommodation like the deluxe fairy dens, complete with features like attic beds for children, fridges, and tea/coffee facilities. The on-site amenities, such as the children's play area, playroom, and entertainment in the starlight theatre, are appreciated; however, some guests have noted that the food is similar to Weatherspoons. All in all, many find it a great value, family-friendly experience.

a decidedly average stay

loud noiselimited breakfast
my room, the family room, felt quite stuffy. there was no air conditioning, and opening the window let in quite a lot of noise. the breakfast was also disappointing, with limited options and not much of it available. i think they need to sort out those few things!

luke warm waterinedible food
honestly, the breakfast was a disaster. i paid extra for a cooked breakfast, but nobody bothered to explain what that actually included. it was a free-for-all with staff running around like headless chickens. then the water for tea was lukewarm, and the orange juice tasted like water. i basically paid for the privilege of staring at overflowing bins. and the food itself? inedible!!!

charming family Adventure

family roomample sleepingexcellent play area
the layout of the family room worked wonderfully for our bi-monthly visit with my son and granddaughter. there were two single beds and one double bed, providing ample sleeping options. the outside play area looked GREAT, though my three-year-old granddaughter did not use it due to bigger children racing around. access to the upper floor from the teepee side saved my aching knees.
the breakfast was simple, maybe a bit too simple for SUCH a nice stay.

The reception staff were helpful. I found easy check-in and check-out procedures. The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). We enjoyed complimentary park tickets for a local event. It is a pleasant little theme park for younger kids.
The bin was not emptied . I had to leave it outside on the path.
